Peter Kryworuk is a Senior Partner at Lerners LLP and Health Law Group Leader. He is a certified Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Ontario and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and Litigation Counsel of America. Mr. Kryworuk has a wide civil litigation and appellate practice which includes medical and professional negligence, personal injury and insurance litigation, product liability litigation, commercial litigation and class action litigation.
He has been included in Best Lawyers in Canada since 2006 and was selected as their Lawyer of the Year (London/Windsor) in Health Care Law (2016 and 2021), Medical Negligence (2020), Product Liability Law (2017), Class Action Litigation (2018), Personal Injury Litigation (2009 and 2013), Legal Malpractice Law (2012) and Corporate and Commercial Litigation (2020). Mr. Kryworuk currently serves as Treasurer of The Advocates’ Society and is a member of the Executive Committee and Board of The Advocates’ Society. He is active in the community and has served on many boards and committees including serving as Chair of the Board at London Health Sciences Foundation, President of the London Ukrainian Centre and as a member of the Boards of the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame, London Health Sciences Centre, London Community Foundation, Fanshawe College Foundation and other community organizations.
Mr. Kryworuk obtained his LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 1982 and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1984. He has written and lectured extensively on numerous legal topics within his areas of practice.
